I made this for a thing somewhere else, but I thought I’d post it here anyway because it is relevant and also because my friend made me listen to this audio book where the guy talking sounded like the comic book guy from the Simpsons and… well, long story short, here’s yet another animated comic for you all.

I hope you don’t mind, I’ve been playing around with GIFs lately. They’re really fun to make! :D I’ve been experimenting with them and I think I’ll post something (relatively) awesome for my next comic.

MS Paint Adventures

So I’m back. As you may already know, my laptop is gone and I’m using a temporary computer for now. What you don’t know (and I only found this out yesterday) is that this computer doesn’t have a DVD disc reader, which means I can’t install Adobe Photshop Elements 8 on it. I’m trying to rectify the situation, but for now please amuse yourselves with my sad adventures in MS Paint.

I haven’t used Paint in a while and it shocked me to discover how much “trouble” I had with its “simple” functions. A back to basics I suppose? (If you can call MS Paint basic…)

It’s been a while guys.

So I’m in a bit of a bind. When I last left you, I was apologizing because my laptop was experiencing problems that caused it to shut down at very inopportune times. It turns out that it didn’t have much time left anyway. The motherboard got fried.

So here I am, without a laptop, forced to use the family computer.
I meant to install my tablet here, but school’s started for me now and I haven’t had much time recently, so I’m hoping I get that done for next Friday’s comic.

For now, you’ll have to make do with my version of a popular meme.

Not Again

That’s right. This again. I feel like I hit some kind of goal or something for having a running joke.

Anyway, the deal is this: I had a comic (I swear, this is true), but my laptop has this habit of shutting off when it starts to overheat. So all the work I did in the last six-or-more hours disappeared. Just vanished without so much as a recoverable file or anything.

So here I am sitting- staring, at a blank canvas, and I decide to bring out the box.

FUNNY SIDE STORY: I named my laptop Aeris, because it always dies.

I always wanted to be an archeologist up until that time I found out what they really do. It wasn’t so much that I didn’t like digging through dirt and discovering artifacts. I was really into that. I still am into that. It was more my disappointment at how normal the job was.

Where were the guns and whips?
